My approach is part of childhood when disassembling and reassembling the jewels at hand, I transformed them according to my imagination and created through them incredible scenarios.
Later, after training as a sculptor and engraver at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and in the Saci and Ciabani workshops in Florence, I returned to jewelry to work with Parisian jewelers and at the School. Boulle.
I approach jewelry like sculpture, each piece is unique. I shape it with various materials: gold, silver, gems, ceramics, silk ... which all go into the organic process of creation. I “paint” the landscape inspired by these materials, the path towards which they lead me until they resonate with the body. Each creation bears the evocation of wonderful worlds. The key to the passage between dreams and the essence of reality, the jewel is then conceived as an initiatory journey, a journey through matter, its energy and the fascination it exerts. The adventure is each time apprehended as the very first with its share of improvisation, surprise, joy and worry which results in the poetic language of the work.
